Black History Month 2021
A monthly historical event about the tremendous amount of black migration in the early 20th century for the opportunities of jobs to maintain their livelihood. It caused the imbalance problem between the ‘labour population’ and ‘job supply and demand’ in South America. With the arouse of the civil rights movement in the mid-to-late 20th century, this issue has expanded from history week to history month.
This designed based on the theme ‘Proud to Be’ of the competition in Birmingham City University in 2021.
「黑人歷史月」關於20世紀黑人為了獲得更多的工作機會展開大量移民，延伸出許多因為勞工和工作機會的供需失衡發生的種族間衝突。為紀念當初在衝突中犧牲及努力發聲的先人們，因此成立了黑人歷史週，後續延長至歷史月。
柏明罕城市大學每年都會舉辦黑人歷史月設計比賽，2021年主題為「Proud to Be」。
Proud to BE KIND to each other
Throughout history, misunderstandings led to inequality and tragedies between different races. Through the efforts of many pioneers, we can live peacefully, however, there are still some conflicts that exist, and we need to work hard to improve them. This piece of work is to encourage everyone to treat each other gently regardless of race, appearance or sexuality.
因爲誤解導致種族之間不平等和悲劇。透過許多人的努力，世界如今才能和平相處，即使現今依舊有衝突存在，藉著這次活動中心思想提倡大家善待彼此，不論種族、外貿或是性向。
